Posted April 09, 2018 06:24:40 The most popular Google sms provider, smm, has confirmed to Android Police that they are discontinuing support for their popular email client SMTP.
“The Google SMM panel provider, SMIM, will no longer be supported for Android devices,” the company stated in a blog post.
“As such, all of our email clients will continue to be supported on SMIM.org.”
In a statement to Android Central, Google also said that SMIM would no longer support “the full range of Google email clients, including Gmail, OneDrive, Outlook.com, Google Calendar, Google Docs, Google Spreadsheets, and others.”
As far as we know, Google will no be offering SMIM 2.0, SMIME 3.0 or SMIM 4.0.
They do however offer SMIM Pro for iOS and Android devices.
As of now, it is unclear what Google will do with their existing smm 2.x client, as the company has not announced an official end date.
However, if you’ve got a device that hasn’t updated since March of this year, it’s highly likely you’ll need to update to the next version of smm.
Google also offered up a list of recommended SMIM apps for iPhone, iPad, and Android.
