Hacker News, a news aggregation site popular with tech workers, is now offering the Google+ APIs for developers to leverage for its own app.
Hacker News previously offered developers a developer API, which offered developers access to the same Google+ functionality as Google+ itself.
The Google+ app for Android was announced in January and the API was made available to developers earlier this year.
It allows developers to create a Google+-based mobile application and provide access to data and analytics to users.
The announcement follows several announcements in the last few months, including Google’s latest Android operating system update for Android 5.0 Lollipop, which brings a redesigned interface for developers.
The Google+ App for iOS is still in development.
