In an email to Google employees, SPMC said it would ‘not ever’ use that phrase.

‘We have a very strict policy of no advertising on our API, and we will never ever use that term.

In the event we do use the phrase, we will continue to ensure it’s clear, and our API is always available and open for all to use.’

The only way we can claim we are using the API is if you provide us with a detailed explanation of what you are using our API for and how we can use it, as it will be of great benefit to us.’SMM said it had not received any such requests from the API provider, and was using its own API instead.

The API is designed to help developers build products that can be used on the web.

The API is also a key tool for the social media companies which rely on it to build their websites and apps.

Google declined to comment on the matter.
