The company claims more than 10 million users in the US and more than 11 million globally.
The report says Instagram has had its ups and downs over the years, and the company’s biggest challenge is maintaining a strong user experience, but its also been a valuable resource for brands, and a boon for the online advertising industry.comScore says Instagram was #1 in its top 10 Instagram service providers rankings for the past four years, with the app’s popularity increasing during the 2016-2017 holiday season.
In 2018, the app experienced a big spike in users, and it remains #1 by a wide margin.comScores for Instagram have been steadily growing over the past year, with its growth in 2018 being particularly impressive.
The top 10 providers of Instagram services account for almost 70% of the company, and its market share has more than doubled in the past two years.
In 2017, Instagram had just over 20% of total global revenue, while it currently holds over 50% of global revenue.
